Megalab, the first medical laboratory in the region of Georgia, which was accredited as a JCI standard on July 24, 2022
In Megalab, we serve more than 5,000 patients daily and this number reaches 2,000,000 annually. Our research volume is at least 17,000 daily and 6,000,000 annually, and all this is supported by 150 high-tech medical equipment. In addition, we have more than 800 research specialties and work with more than 200 partners, including leading clinicians and companies from Georgia.
In addition to basic laboratory tests, we conduct research in oncological and molecular directions, where high-power automated systems help us. Moreover, most of these studies have never been available in Georgia - samples were sent abroad. Finally, as a laboratory hypermarket, within the framework of corporate social responsibility, we constantly care about improving staff qualifications through various international or local trainings. In addition, we promote the growth of professional personnel, for which we have introduced a residency program both in laboratory medicine and clinical pathology.
